|Once again employees, friends, and family of Team Mascaro participated in the Great Strides walk event on May 14th in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This event, held annually, helps in raising money to support vital cystic fibrosis (CF) research and care programs. Mascaro has a personal connection to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through one of our dedicated employees, Nate Martin and his wife Maryann; whose beautiful little daughter Sofia was diagnosed with CF. Mascaro co-workers, family, and friends assembled at 810 River Avenue on the North Shore to walk in support followed by an after party celebration; complete with food, beverages, music and fun!

Mascaro employees, friends, and family also joined Team Addison on Saturday, May 16th for the 2015 Angelman Syndrome Walk. Nationwide, over 10,000 people walked in 35 cities to find a cure for Angelman Syndrome.
Retired Mascaro executive, Andy Beamon and wife Shirley’s lovely granddaughter, Addison, was born with Angelman Syndrome (AS), a neuro-genetic disorder that includes developmental delays, seizures, walking and balance disorders, and lack of speech. The walk took place at North Park and concluded with a cookout in celebration! Team Addison raised nearly $11,500!
