National Aviary

Project Details

Mascaro has been providing services to the National Aviary for two decades.  Work through the years has included: renovations and additions to the lobby and classroom area, atrium dome, two-story endangered bird-breeding facility with an attached greenhouse, new west entrance, rose garden, construction of the outdoor African Penguin habitat, and most recently, renovations to the Eagle Habitats.  Mascaro has also completed an expansion project that included: the new Helen M. Schmidt FlightZone Theater (nation’s first avian indoor theater), a new rooftop deck, a new Grasslands Exhibit, and more.
