The new training facility consists of two primary areas: a 16,000˗square-foot, high-bay shop with a 4,000˗square-foot mezzanine for large equipment training and a 12,800˗square˗foot one story classroom and administration building. Housed inside a prefabricated metal building, it utilizes satellite technology and computerized and robotics equipment to aid in training.
Located within one mile of the Operating Engineers training center, the dispatch center includes a 7,000-square-foot meeting hall. The facility also includes kitchen space for catering services, offices, reception area, and storage space.
