Project Details
A portion of the third floor of the South Tower was renovated to accommodate the relocation of the Central Pharmacy and departmental administrative offices. The pharmacy is designed to meet USP 797 and USP 800 compliance with the Joint Commission. The new pharmacy clinical space is an open plan utilizing pharmacy medical modular systems furniture for workstations. Two pharmacy carousel automated medication storage and retrieval units were installed within the area which required structural modifications to the floor to support the weight of the units.
