Mascaro Advantage
We provided crucial assistance to help resolve significant budget issues and reduce projected operating costs with an energy efficient facility. As the construction progressed, WMHS increased the scope of work and made other changes and refinements. Mascaro’s philosophy is that value engineering does not end at the GMP and diligently worked through the changes providing value engineering ideas to help contain the cost. These changes added approximately 1.5% to the GMP. WMHS was pleased with the final cost of $230.4 million which was, in their own words, "under budget."
