Sustainable development is a concept that Mascaro has been instrumental in supporting since 1993 when we completed the Heinz Family Foundation and Office project, one of the first “green buildings” in the area. Our experience includes roughly seven million square feet of LEED® recognized projects with an aggregate value in excess of $1.2 billion.
Our expertise in sustainable construction is a result of approximately 34 LEED professionals who have participated in over 50 LEED construction projects. Additionally, Mascaro was the first contractor from the Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia area to be ranked by Engineering News-Record's Top 100 Green Contractors. In 2017, Mascaro ranked No. 86, making the list for the tenth straight year in a row.
