Sustainable development is a concept that Mascaro has been instrumental in supporting since 1993 when we completed the Heinz Family Foundation and Office project, one of the first “green buildings” in the area. Our experience includes over 8.5 million square feet of LEED® recognized projects with an aggregate value in excess of $1.9 billion.
Our expertise in sustainable construction is a result of 27 LEED professionals who have participated in over 58 LEED construction projects. Additionally, Mascaro was the first contractor from the Western Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia area to be ranked by Engineering News-Record's Top 100 Green Contractors. In 2021, Mascaro ranked No. 71, making the list for the 14th consecutive year.
