Project Details
The MuseumLab project consisted of exterior and interior renovations to historic Allegheny Regional Branch of the Carnegie Library. It is an extension of the Children's Museum providing maker/workshop space, office space for Museum partners, flexible gallery space, and space for the Manchester Academic Charter Middle School.

Additionally, Mascaro was the construction manager for the original expansion project that linked the existing Children’s Museum to the abandoned Buhl Planetarium building to more than triple its size. Other projects Mascaro completed for the museum includes: cafe, store, and other miscellaneous renovations; plaster repairs to the dome area; renovations to the Waterplay Exhibit; removal of bridge artwork; and lobby renovations. The Children's Museum is LEED® Silver.
