Project Details

This new riverfront park links the trail at Pittsburgh’s Point State Park with the one in the historic Strip District.  The main feature of the park is an elevated platform, that is 320 feet wide and extends 23 feet into the Allegheny River.  The platform is supported by a series of pipe piles that allow water to flow underneath so that it provides a safe habitat for fish and other wildlife.
