Project Details

Mascaro constructed a precast water collection pit to collect runoff (rain, snowmelt, etc.) from the coal pile. The surface water runoff is pretreated before it is pumped out for further / final purification. Construction included a sump (below ground vault), tank foundation, power and instrument wiring, and piping from the tanks to the sump pump.
