The new Pennsylvania State Archives Building is the home of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The building is broken up into designations of A, B, and C. Area A is five levels and houses the archives in multiple rooms and contains high density shelving. There is also a refrigerated archives storage room as well. Each of the elevated floors in Area A has two large mechanical rooms. Area A and B both have parking on the ground floor. Area B has a classroom, staff offices, lobby, and self-service area. Area C is an exterior mechanical courtyard.
